Background
Dr. Werner Visagé received his American Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), graduating from the prestigious International Dentists Program in 2016. At UCSF, the Dental Honour Society gave him the Dr. Kramer S award in 2015 and awarded him Honour Society Membership in 2016, along with awards for Clinical Excellence and Mentoring.
He attained his first dental degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1999 and a Specialist degree in Periodontics and Oral Medicine in 2006. During this time he served as Secretary of the South African Society of Periodontology and still holds specialist registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Clinical Philosophy
The most enjoyable part of his career is getting to know each patient's needs and playing a role in improving oral health. Dr. Visagé is truly passionate about dentistry and believes in long-term patient care — including the gum and bone health that keeps teeth and implants stable for life.
He strikes a balance between professional and personal life, and maintains fitness through outdoor activities with his family.
